We are looking for a Delivery Manager to work with a collaborative, cross-functional team, and as a part of our Product department, to take part in all phases of our development process. 

As a Delivery Manager you will be working closely with our international team, spread across three continents, on supporting delivery of our product by setting up product structure, and making sure that SDLC and appropriate product development procedures are implemented. 

Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with project teams on setting up, maintaining, tracking, and monitoring project plans and schedules; reporting on project progress, project milestones and deliverables.
  • Ensuring transparency of detailed project requirements and meeting deadlines. 
  • Overseeing day-to-day management of multiple projects simultaneously across multiple and diverse teams.
  • Proactively managing project changes, conflicts, and suggesting alternatives to ensure project delivery.
  • Following the processes and making sure they are constantly improved.
  • Facilitating meetings necessary for successful project delivery.
  • Coordinating and helping schedule and prioritization of project tasks and resources within the engineering teams.
  • Working closely with our external-facing teams and providing support in understanding technical aspects and timelines of project requirements.

An ideal candidate would:

  • Have at least 2 years of work experience in the IT industry in a project or product role, or at least 5 years of work experience in software engineering, preferably in an international company.
  • Have experience in software development, release processes and project management tools.
  • Be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Have knowledge of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Be a strong team player with exceptional communication skills with a focus on team success.
  • Have proven experience in handling multiple tasks and deadlines, and a can-do attitude.
  • Have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, while maintaining an idea of overall goals and objectives.
  • Be proficient in both spoken and written English.

Our team is looking for an HR Manager to join our growing People Operations team and help  us strengthen Seven Bridges’ organization, culture and employee experience. As an HR Manager you will work closely with the local leadership team to assess and deliver business needs and strategies, as well as with the global People Ops team that will support Seven Bridges’ strategy, engagement, and growth. 

As an HR leadership team member, you will be dedicated to create and keep up a work environment that fosters innovation and engagement through various company-wide programs in a very fast-paced environment.

Main duties and responsibilities: 

  • Developing, implementing, measuring and leading key initiatives and programs in areas such as performance management, learning and development, HRIS, change management, metrics/analytics, employee relations and engagement, culture, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, on-boarding, policies and/or procedures and compliance.
  • Partnering with global HR team on rolling out global initiatives and programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or higher education in Psychology, Human Resources or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources with demonstrated experience in team leadership.
  • Proven work experience in an international and multicultural organization.
  • Experience in development and implementation of various HR programs, policies and strategies in a global business environment.
  • Proven experience in partnering with various stakeholders to develop and implement different types of business and HR strategies.

Java Software Engineer

As a member of our Engineering team, you will have the opportunity to extend our platform, build innovative tools and products, and be involved in designing new and custom solutions. You will be working on a subset of our 80+ production services and be responsible for design, implementation, integration and operation of these services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform application security testing for Seven Bridges products
  • Full stack and network security testing to identify vulnerabilities
  • Design penetration testing scoping documentation for a third party penetration testing vendor
  • Work closely with engineering and technical operations teams to develop vulnerability fixes, prioritization, and mitigations
  • Track, review, and evaluate new vulnerabilities across the technology stack
  • Design and create new penetration tools and tests

Qualifications

The Senior Risk and Compliance Analyst will be a key member of the information security team, reporting to the Team Lead, Information Security and Compliance.
The ideal candidate will be a part of the global team and work on implementing international compliance standards - ISO 27001, ISO 27017, GDPR, SOC 2, FedRAMP, and many others. You will work with cloud environment within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and with the cutting edge field of genomic precision medicine.
The successful candidate will bring expertise in IT general controls, auditing, compliance, a strong work ethic, and customer service skills. The successful candidate must excel at contributing to the security team.  This role requires the right blend of technical and non-technical skills, and will be working across the entire Seven Bridges organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring the successful design, implementation, documentation and operation of information technology general controls
  • Implementing security best practices and business unit security ownership across the organization
  • Assisting in collecting and reviewing documentation for third party audits
  • Assisting US and EU based sales and pre-sales teams in responding to customer’s security and compliance related inquiries

Required

  • PhD (preferred) or relevant experience in genetics, bioinformatics, computational biology or a related discipline

  • Experience with large-scale genomic data management (HPC or cloud computing) and/or analysis

Genomics Scientist

The Genomics Scientist will work closely with the Seven Bridges Principal investigator to drive the success of an NCI funded consortia tasked with developing cancer treatments through the generation of new models with corresponding sequencing data. You will work closely with consortia PI’s to develop and execute consortia strategies for developing new multi-agent treatments that can lead to human clinical trials. Executing on the consortia strategies will be your place to shine. You will execute on the consortia strategy by developing collaborative relationships with participating research center’s Principal Investigators (PIs) that will allow you to individualize the strategy execution for each of the participating institutions. 

Ensuring that new xenograph models, corresponding sequencing data, and quantitative measures derived from the sequencing data are made publically available will be a major focus of your efforts. You will work with our collaborators to bring standard genomic data processing workflows online to process a growing public dataset. You will work with our product and engineering teams to make data available to the Network and to the research community in the presence of an evolving data standard; and will coordinate the development of tools that make network data findable and actionable. 

You are both people and technically oriented. You are an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, you can think like a researcher, and you eagerly work to resolve problems. You will drive Network success by organizing and facilitating consortia meetings. You are also technically hands-on; able to oversee data standardization, run bioinformatics workflows, and guide engineering teams.  The successful genomic scientist will revel in success by promoting the data and tools developed by the consortia at meetings and supporting manuscript submissions. 

Duties and responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Network Principal investigators to execute on the consortia’s strategies
  • Lead data generation and publishing initiatives by working closely with individual researchers and leading internal efforts to develop supporting tools.
  • Perform consortia and project needs assessment and requirements gathering.
  • Collaborate with bioinformatics scientists and software engineers to design and deploy solutions for the consortia, including company products and customizations, and present these solutions and results to the Network.
  • Work with committees to ensure that their consortia pilot’s projects are successful.
  • Maintain and track the relationship with the consortia and become the internal authority on consortia issues, needs, and future plans.  
  • Troubleshoot problems with individual researchers and strategize on solutions, coordinating with internal teams.
  • Become an expert user of the Seven Bridges Platform by learning to run genomics analyses, set up new workflows, build simple scripts with the R or Python API, or do basic debugging of analyses on our platform.
  • Train consortia users by running customized educational workshops.
  • Use your scientific expertise to contribute to high-quality written RFP and RFI responses, including writing executive summaries and responses, and editing technical components.

Qualifications and competencies:

  • Education: PhD in genetics, bioinformatics, molecular biology, computer science or related discipline, but will consider strong candidates with undergraduate or masters in the same disciplines as well as 3-5 years of experience.
  • Specialized knowledge: genomics, bioinformatics, biomedical data analysis, programming.
